From the classic charm of P. Ramlee and Saloma, to the vibrant Pop Yeh Yeh era of L. Ramli, Jeffrydin and beyond. Together, we’ll listen, reflect and celebrate how these songs continue to shape our collective rhythm.

Facilitated by vinyl collectors and sound curators HEAVYITCH, each listening room session will entail a walk through of the personal crates of the duo as we listen to each tune on vinyl, and talk about the eras and stories behind them.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

VINYLHEAVY is a familiar face in the underground music circuits of Singapore and Malaysia. 

What started as a small pop-up booth selling records and merch has now grown into a platform that collaborates with regional artists, sharing funky, psychedelic and left-field sounds from the Malay archipelago and beyond.

ITCH_SG is a Singapore-based DJ and vinyl collector whose sound is rooted in the region’s “local exotic funk-a-go-go” era. 

He specialises in Asian grooves and forgotten local gems — reintroducing them to new listeners while bringing a dose of nostalgia to those who grew up with these tunes.
